THIS IS A CUSTOM KATANA THAT COMES WITH A DARK BLUE SAYA AND TSUKA  11" HANDLE HAS BEEN FITTED FOR OPTIMAL LEVERAGE AND CONTROL IN CUTTING AND MANIPULATING THIS AMAZING PIECE. PERFECT SWORD FOR BEGINNING AND INTERMEDIATE LEVEL TAMESHIGIRI 

 About the Katana Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from 1065 differentially hardened carbon steel with bohi (blood groove). The hamon of the sword is authentic in a midare gunome pattern. The blade is full tang and very sharp. Saya: The saya is wooden with a high gloss blue finish and bull horn koiguchi. The sageo is blue fiber/silk material. Tsuka: Is custom fitted 11" piece wrapped in dark blue silk / fiber material. The tsuba is round solid steel that has a wolf head embedded in it, black color. The fuchigashira are black alloy with a dragon theme. The ito is dark blue silk / fiber material over ray skin samegawa. The nakago is secured by two smoked bamboo mekugi.
