33" DAI KATANA

The Katana: The blade of the sword has been constructed from T-10/1095 forged, clay tempered, differential hardened carbon steel. The hamon of the sword is authentic in a midare gunome pattern. Hand polished and sharpened, with a full tang and very sharp and a full 33" blade including habaki.

The 35" saya is customized with a wooden base with Buffalo horn end which adds both beauty/elegance along with supporting strength and functional durability finished in a high gloss black with bull horn koiguchi. The sageo is blue fiber/silk material.

Tsuka: Is fitted with a 14" long handle, wrapped in a dark blue fiber/silk fiber material. The tsuba is steel and square with rounded edges shape with Raiko Thunder God emerging out. The fuchigashira are black alloy with a dragon theme. The ito is dark blue fiber/silk material over real ray skin samegawa. The nakago is secured by two smoked bamboo mekugi.
